Led Boulder County's research on the Social Cost of Greenhouse Gases that informed successful advocacy for decreased pollution in disproportionately impacted communities.
Industrial Decarbonization Coalition
Organized and coordinated a coalition to ensure equitable outcomes in a Colorado air quality rulemaking process. Translated dense regulatory language into accessible toolkits to support community-based advocacy.
BREATHE Policy Program Design
Facilitated collaborative program design for Black Parents United Foundation's community-led process to develop an environmental justice policy platform.
Equitable Ocean Biogeochemical Measurements
Led two research studies involving research vessel measurements of ocean biogeo-chemistry. Recommended a timing shift on ocean biogeochemical measurements to close a current gap of understanding about where atmospheric carbon dioxide goes as we make projections of future climate.
Tracking man-made (anthropogenic) carbon storage in the ocean
Spearheaded a study to track modeled, man-made carbon storage over time. Our results are critical for interpretation of long term changes in ocean biogeochemistry.
Keynote Presentations: Connecting Climate Change and Racism
Delivered multiple keynote presentations connecting policies that create inequities for the least polluters, who are also cannot change the system to make it equitable. Audiences spanned from university and high school students, researchers, science educators, and science communicators.
